Our founder and CEO, Eric McCorkle, began his career working for a large production builder. While the fast pace of that environment provided valuable experience, he quickly noticed a troubling pattern – quality and craftsmanship were often sacrificed for speed and volume. Homes were being built, but the attention to detail and pride in workmanship that make a home truly exceptional were often missing.

That realization became the turning point. Motivated to do better, Eric earned his contractor’s license and founded Mac Homes & Construction with a commitment to quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. From the beginning, the goal was simple: build homes the right way, without compromising on the details that matter most.

Today, Mac Homes & Construction is focused on the development and construction of thoughtfully designed homes throughout Southwest Florida.
